Dennis Pearson earned the Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is Assistant Director of the Center for Economic Education, a Sam Walton Fellow with Students in Free Enterprise, and a faculty member at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Prior to coming to UTC, Pearson was an Associate Professor with Troy University, served as an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, and was a board member for the American Red Cross. His consulting experience includes Fortune 500 companies, city governments, chambers of commerce, medical companies, and hospitals. Pearson holds a certification with the United States Professional Tennis Registry and plays tennis and golf as a means of relaxation.
