Dr. Barbara C. Medley
Fall 2010 was a Sabbatical period for Dr. Medley. Much of this time was spent in the development and implementation of a study on young adult attitudes toward commitment and marriage. This research was supported by grants from the UTC Faculty Research and Development Committee’s and Office of Equity and Diversity. Dr. Medley presented preliminary findings from this study at the Eastern Sociological Society meeting in Philadelphia, PA, in February 2011, and the Middle Tennessee State University Interdisciplinary Conference in March 2011.
