- Accepted participants may attend some or all of the sessions although benefits vary with the number of sessions attended
Learn about the major belief systems of East Asia through working with eminent scholars from throughout the United States at Belmont University in Nashville, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), or from your home computer. “Belief Systems and Religions of East Asia” is open to both NCTA alumni and teachers who have not taken NCTA.
Teachers interested in this exceptional opportunity should apply as soon as possible because space at Belmont and UTC is limited. We can only accept fifty teachers (including live and digital participants).
Tennessee and North Georgia teachers, media specialists, and administrators in elementary, middle, and high schools who would like to learn more about the Belief Systems and Religions of East Asia and include Asia content in their curricula are eligible to apply. A limited number of spaces are reserved for pre-service teachers.
