Here at Upward Bound Prism, our goals are to strengthen students Math & Science skills. We also provide study groups and tutoring sessions on Mondays & Wednesdays (schedule subject to change). We believe in helping students and getting them prepared for college. Our goal is also to help the students set goals for themselves and help them find out what they want to be in life. We do this by helping students make budgets, we have them choose a career, and then shadow a person in that profession. We also give them different case scenarios where they only make so much money a year and they have to budget. Our goals are also to encourage students to do the best that he/she can do. We have lots of cultural enrichment and college trips that we plan throughout the year. Prism is all about learning not only about math and science, but also about life.
