Sarah Strickland
Sarah Strickland has a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and is planning on completing a Masters of Music in Orchestral Conducting in December of 2012. She has many experiences playing and teaching violin, piano, and organ. She has performed and taught in many places including Michigan, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. She also has experience leading bands, orchestras, bell choirs, and children's choirs.
Sarah grew up in a musical family in Upstate New York and now resides in Chattanooga. Over the last two decades, she has taught many private piano and violin lessons. She has taught music in small private schools, worked as a church organist, and also had the role of a church music director.
Sarah loves to work with people of all ages. Kindermusik provides her the opportunity to work not only with children, but also with adults. She is excited about sharing her love of making music and learning. She is looking forward to teaching in a place where, "I can utilize the varied skills I have as a musician and a teacher, and will be challenged to continue to grow professionally and personally."
