ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (Transition-to-College)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (Pre-Nursing)
- Must be full time student at UTC.
- Student CAN NOT be on academic probation.
- Educationally disadvantaged background. Educationally disadvantaged background is defined as:
- Person from high school with low average SAT/ACT scores or below the average State test results
- Person from a school district where 50% or less of graduates go to college
- Person from a rural high school
- Person is first generation to attend college.
- Person from a high school where at least 30% of enrolled students are eligible for free or reduced price lunches.
~ OR ~
- Economically disadvantaged. Economically disadvantaged is someone who comes from a family with an annual income below a level based on low-income thresholds established by the current HHS Poverty Guidelines (Completing a FASFA will be required annually).
- ACT 17 (May be required to take ACT for entrance in School of Nursing)
- Letter of recommendation
- Demonstration of academic capacity to complete a nursing degree (e.g. GPA of 2.75)
- Attend a four week summer intensive program if accepted into DREAMWork.
- Participate in academic year activities as scheduled by Director.

- Person from high school with low average SAT/ACT scores or below the average State test results
- Person from a school district where 50% or less of graduates go to college
- Person from a rural high school
- Person is first generation to attend college.
- Person from a high school where at least 30% of enrolled students are eligible for free or reduced price lunches.

- Participate in an online four week summer program.
- Participate in academic year activities as scheduled by Director.
