Narrative: The Tipton County Education Edge Partnership (TCEEP) committed to focusing Strategic Planning 2000 on Education Edge. This strategy will impact the system for the next five years. There were 27 Strategic Planning Team members and 195 Action Team members who participated in the process. The partnership provided technical assistance and professional development opportunities for parents, students, teachers, administrators, and business leaders to have a say in effecting changes in the school system. Action plans were developed to support activities in funding, instruction, curriculum, technology, facilities, safety, personnel, community involvement, communication and supportive services.
It Works! Because of the hard work by students, schools, employers and others, Education Edge goals and objectives are firmly planted in the mission statement, strategies and objectives of the Strategic Planning Team. By doing this Education Edge, initiatives are integrated into every applicable facet of the system.
