Cadek Memorial Scholarships
The funds providing these scholarships are the gifts of long-time
friends of the conservatory. These scholarships are awarded annually to students demonstrating
outstanding ability and accomplishment on an instrument or voice. Auditions are held each spring and all scholarships awarded are contingent upon the applicants' enrollment at the Cadek Conservatory of Music for the academic year immediately following the auditions. Scholarship awards are applied to tuition only at the Conservatory. All participants must complete an application containing the audition pieces recommended by their current music instructor. The music instructor must also sign the application. There are two levels of auditions. The Achievement level is for advanced students from the Conservatory and throughout the community. Achievement award amounts range from $200 to $1,000. The Incentive level is for less experienced students who are current students at the Conservatory and the award amounts range from $60 to $150. 2010 Auditions will be held April 18 and 25. Application forms will be available in the Conservatory office February 1, 2010. All applications must be returned to the office by April 1 with the required $10 application fee. of family income (tax records or 1040 forms) in order to demonstrate
eligibility for need-based awards. Application forms for need-based awards are available in the Conservatory office every May 1st.
