The Impact of Distance Learning: Local and Global

This year’s program focuses on three aspects of distance learning. Proposals are solicited that address any of the following with research and position papers:

· What impact is distance education having on access to and improvement of education and training in the U. S. and abroad?

· What resources and methods help increase the impact and improve the outcomes of distance learning?

· What are major issues surround the use of distance learning in education and training?
