Check Out Policies

Most classroom audiovisual equipment is available for check-out at no charge to any University of Tennessee at Chattanooga faculty, staff, or students for classroom use or for any university-related activity. By requesting equipment, you are accepting responsibility for that equipment from time of delivery through time of pick up. Please secure all equipment!

Equipment reservations are subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure availability, please reserve equipment at least one week in advance of anticipated use. All equipment will be delivered to a specified classroom unless otherwise arranged.

Services provided without cost for UTC classes and activites:

On campus media equipment set up, delivery, and pick up
Classroom presentation documentation (video documentation)
Media equipment maintenance and repair for UTC equipment

Services provided at a small charge for materials and supplies and set up:

Satellite and teleconference downlinking (requestor must pay any downlinking fees and taping fees)
Off-air video recording (within copyright fair use guidelines) [See policy regarding this.]
Video and audio tape duplication (within copyright fair use guidelines) [See policy regarding this.]
Video editing

Some classrooms certain equipment in place. Please call Media Resources to find out if your classroom has the equipment you need.
