Grading |
The four weekly exams(the lowest will be dropped) are worth 300 points. The web homework is 50 points. The final exam is 150 points. After converting to percentage form, 100-90 A, 89-80 B, 79-70 C, 69-60 D, 59-0 F, with any adjusting of the grades done by your instructor after the final exams are graded. |

Homework |
The homework for this course will consist of web homework and problems from our textbook. The exams have problems to solve that are either exactly the same as the homework or similar to homework problems. Being able to do the homework problems is the best way to increase the chances of doing well on exams. It is important to solve all of the problems before they are covered on exams. Your instructor only assigns problems that could appear on exams and your instructor tries very hard to cover all parts of the homework assignments somewhere on the exams. |
