Make-up
Tests:
Make-up tests will be given
only for extreme
circumstances. NOT
considered extreme are: inadequate time to study for the test; another test
on the same day; personal vacation; oversleeping; ignorance about the test date
(this list is not exhaustive). If you must miss a test you must inform me in
advance if possible; in any case you must present proof of the reasons for your
absence. The make-up must be taken on the next class day.
Grading
Scale:
Grading for the semester will be according to the
following scale:
100% ³ A ³ 90% > B ³ 80% > C ³ 70% > D ³ 60% > F
Any curving of grades will be determined after the final exam is graded. Cutting class more than 5 times will reduce your grade very quickly. If you cut class 9 times then you would get an F even if your average is a perfect 100.
