Office Hours and Grading for Math 123

Office Hours |
9:40-10:40 MTWTF and 12:30-1:30 MTWTF, before and after classes in EMCS 410 I teach a computer lab from 1:30 till 3:15 on Monday and Wednesday in EMCS 206 and I can assist you with your homework problems whenever I am not assisting members of the lab class. |

Grading |
Each of the three regular exams are worth 23% of your final grade and the comprehensive final exam is 31% of your final grade. Usually, 100-90 A, 89-80 B, 79-70 C, 69-60 D, 59-0 F, with any adjusting of the grades done by your instructor after the final exams are graded. |

Make-up Exams |
Make up exams will be given only for extreme circumstances. Not considered extreme are: inadequate time to study for the test; another test on the same day: personal vacation: oversleeping: ignorance about the test date(this list is not exhaustive). If you must miss a test you must inform me in advance if possible; in any case you must present proof of the reasons for your absence. Your instructor will determine how the test is to be made up. |
