The cultural program for Diwali '99 will be approximately 2 and 1/2 hours long. It will be designed to present a quality program providing as many individuals an opportunity to perform as possible within the given time frame. You may submit more than one program entry. However, please specify your preference for each event. Particpants will be provided free admission and will be presented with trophies . As always, we need your support and participation to have a quality event and a fun time for everybody. We need volunteers to help organize and execute Diwali '99 celebrations. Please inform a committee member as soon as possible your interest in helping with the organizing, staging of an event and/or decorating of the auditorium.

IAC would like to solicit your membership for 1999. The membership year for IAC starts in January and ends in December. You are welcome to become a member any time during this period. We encourage you to become a member early in the year so that you can take advantage of all the events free for members. Membership fee is $25 per family and $15 for a single person. Full time UTC students receive free membership. Life-time membership is $250 per family. We have produced a directory of members that includes useful information for the Indian Community in Chattanooga. The directory is free for members and will cost $4 for non-members. If you need a copy, pl. contact Mohan Rao (892-7001).

IAC welcomes all new arrivals in town. Please let us know their addresses and telephone numbers and/or special help needed in order to become active member of our community. Members, in case you have moved, please promptly inform Mr. Mohan Rao (892-7001) about any address and phone number changes.

Youth Group Officers

Those interested in serving on the committee should contact Mohan Rao (892-7001). We are also looking for a Youth coordinator to coordinate youth programs.
