Silly Putty

1. Add 2 tablespoons of water to 2 tablespoons of Elmer's Glue and stir until consistent. Add any desired food coloring.
2. Add 2-3 teaspoons of solid Sodium Borate or Borax* detergent.
3. Stir until solidified, and then knead to remove excess water.

* Borax is a common cleaning agent.

Note: Amounts of Borax, water, and glue added can be varied to change the texture and consistency of the silly putty. The glue must be Elmer's.
