The Advantage Program is the rehabilitation program of Cayes Clinic in South Haiti providing assistance to persons with physically disabling conditions. 

 

The Advantage Program consists of three components:

· Rehabilitation Clinic & Brace Shop

· The Bernice Johnson Center

· St. Vincent Rehabilitation School Sponsorship program

The Advantage Program encompasses the programs started in the late 1940s by Bernice Johnson, one of the first nurses at Cayes Clinic. Coordinating services for needy children with disabilities was large part of Bernice's ministry in Haiti during her greater than 30 year service in the country. The Bernice Johnson School is named in her honor.
