GEOL 480 is a 1-hour seminar that provides an opportunity for students to explore their interests and to become familiar with current themes in the Earth sciences. As part of the seminar experience and to develop essential academic skills, students are expected to research topics, write short papers, make brief presentations, and participate in discussions.
