Chemistry 121 Final Information

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

  1. Make sure your know when and where your final exam will take place!
  2. The exam time for T/Thurs, 8:00 - 9:15 (Section 011 and 012)
    • Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 8 - 10 a.m. in Grote 129
  3. You will be allowed one 4x6 card for the exam. You can write anything you want on the card for the exam. You may also type on the card, but it may only be a total of 48 square inches. DO NOT layer material on the card.
  4. You must take the final at the appointed time.
  5. Do not show up late for the final. You will only be allowed to finish in the time remaining.
  6. If you miss the final, an F will be averaged into your course grade. You will not be allowed to take the final at a later date.
  7. The format of the final is as follows: 50 multiple choice questions for 2 hours and you may use a scientific calculator.
  8. The final is written by Dr. Potts.
  9. Here is a handout that has review problems for the final: Final Practice Problems and Solutions to the Final Practice Problems.
  10. Here is a sample final which you can use for review. I realize it is difficult, but it is a good review of all the material. Omit questions: 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 70: SAMPLE FINAL
