Curriculum Committee (Bruce Hutchinson): Bruce Hutchinson made the following requests of curriculum proposals:
1. Use the current cover sheet that is posted on the Faculty Senate Website. It is “click and type.”
2. The committee is asking that proposals be typed, not handwritten. It becomes difficult on photocopying to read hand-written notes.
3. If you need to include the catalog, it can be downloaded electronically and included. If you need help, contact the Office of Records and Registration.
4. The title of the proposal needs to begin with the department name or the abbreviation of the department name.
5. Send all proposal changes to the chair, Bruce Hutchinson.
6. Any additions or changes to pre-/co-requisites require a full proposal. Last year was an exception.

Helen Eigenberg asked how the title of the proposal should be written if it affects more than one major. Bruce Hutchinson answered that proposals should still include the name of the department and then near the beginning of the proposal it should be explained what majors are affected. Kay Lindgren pointed out problems with the curriculum deadlines and accreditation issues. Bruce Hutchinson answered that the committee would work with the affected departments.
