- Open the air switch
- Switch ON all surge protectors (under the ROBOT and computer tables)
- Power ON the Laser Engraver (the power button is on the right side of the equipment)
- Turn ON all computers (MANAGER, WS2, WS1, )
- At the MANAGER, open directory OPENCIM UTC » click OpenCIM Manager » Change CIM mode to Simulation Mode » OK (Note: the MANAGER has to be turned-on First and turned-off Last)
- Still at OpenCIM Manager , click RUN button » RUN arrow (wait 10 seconds, and stop it by clicking red button) » switch the mode back to Real Mode (purpose: to make the MANAGER listening other computers and equipments)
- After the MANAGER is ready, go to WS1, and open directory OPENCIM » open Loader of WS1 » click green button to load all devices
- at the WS1, after all devices are loaded, type in "run homes" on the ACL device program to place the devices (ROBOT/ASRS) into home position. (Note: if the ACL device program keeps scroling down, check the Teach Pendant and make sure it is in AUTO mode, then type in "AUTO" on the ACL device program)
- Go to WS2, open directory OPENCIM » open the Loader of WS2 » click green button to load all devices. After all devices are loaded, type in "run homes"...wait until all devices are loaded
- If you are going to use the caliper, you might use the SPC program. Just double click the SPC icon in the OPENCIM directory after step 9 is completed.
- Now...System is ready to produce. PROCEED TO BEFORE PRODUCTION PROCEDURES.
