Online Delivery
The Online Master's Program in Engineering Management enables students to take courses at a time and place that fits their own schedules. The courses are delivered using a combination of Blackboard, Windows Media, Mediasite, and Mimio .
Blackboard provides a framework for delivering courses online as well as in class. All of the course documents, course information, and assignments are available online to both in-class and online students. Another important feature of Blackboard is the discussion board. This feature enables students to have on-line discussions with the instructor and other students in class on assigned topics.
Our streaming system allows the instructor to broadcast audio and video from the class to the web while delivering the course to in-class students. The on-line students hear the instructor and see what the instructor is presenting in real-time. The online students can also communicate with the instructor during the class via a chat room available on Blackboard. Each lecture is also archived for online students who are not available at the same time the class is being offered.
