Draft Electrical PE Review

UTC is sponsoring a comprehensive review course which will prepare participants to sit for the PE Electrical and Computer - Power Exam Specifications in the state of Tennessee and surrounding states.  Instruction will be centered on the type of problems encountered on the exams and will be on an undergraduate, non-credit basis.  This course helps participants to prepare for the NCEES “Electrical and Computer - Power” Examination, which was introduced in the spring of 2009.  This review course has an emphasis on problem solving and testing strategies.  Materials and sample problems are based on guidelines from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.  To register, call 423-425-4344.

Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Review

This is an in-depth review course for the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) examination. The CAP rating is the achievement of the internationally recognized standard of proficiency in the secretarial and administrative support professions. In today's workplace, having the CAP credentials can be assurance of employability, pay increases, bonuses and opportunity for advancement. The CAP examination covers three main subject areas:

  • Office Administration
  • Office Systems and Technology
  • Management

To receive CAP certification you must register and pay a fee to the International Association of Administrative Professionals. UTC is an authorized testing center for the CAP examination. Textbook information will be sent to you upon registration.

Professionals in Human Resources/Senior Professionals in Human Resource (PHR/SPHR) Review

UTC, in collaboration with the Chattanooga Human Resources Association (CHRA), is an official University provider of the SHRM Learning System. This program is a comprehensive review for the Professionals in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR) exams. Participants receive a complete set of the SHRM Learning System materials, a $425 value. UTC faculty and area professionals teach the course. Review topics include:
