What is the CPS rating?
The CPS rating is the achievement of the internationally recognized standard of proficiency as a professional secretary. -
Why earn the CPS rating?

How is the CPS rating obtained?
The rating is obtained by:
a) completing and verifying educational and employment experience requirements; and
b) passing a three-part, one-day examination. -

Qualifications for taking the CPS examination include a combination of education and experience. -
When is the CPS examination given?
An internationalized version of the CPS examination is given the first Saturday in May and November. UTC is an authorized testing center for the CPS examination.
