Just outside the immediate proximity of the campus we have the historic Fortwood community residential area. These streets pride some of the most elegant houses one can come across.
Many of the houses in these areas are used by student organizations (Greek Fraternities and Sororities etc.) to house their organizations. It is a neat locality with a strong college-like atmosphere all around it..
Apart from the peaceful living experience at UTC, these streets and communities make a great jogging route. It is a treat to go for a run on a beautiful afternoon.
