WUTC
to give away porch swing
With an early contribution to the fall membership
drive of WUTC Music 88, you will be automatically entered for a
chance to win a Brayton
Mountain
Woodworks porch swing. WUTC Music 88 is affiliated with National
Public Radio (NPR) and Public Radio International (PRI), licensed
to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is continuing its
on-air Membership Campaign.
The pledge drive officially begins Monday, October 11, and the
winner of the porch swing will be announced on October 8, 2004.
Derek Brown, hand crafter for Brayton Mountain Woodworks, is happy
to donate the swing to the station. “I just enjoy listening
to the radio station so I do what I can to help.” Brown said.
The cypress swing features thick slats and wide arms to maximize
comfort. The combination of stainless steel hardware, exterior
grade glue and treated wood make for a long lasting, beautiful
piece of craftsmanship.
A unique way to support WUTC Music 88 is to pledge $288.10 and
become a DJ For An Hour. With technical support provided, the DJ
For An Hour has the choice of providing musical selections from
a personal collection, or tapping the resources of the radio station.
