Microsoft Selects UTC Computer Science Major
as MVP
Andy Vanosdale, UTC sophomore and computer science major, has
been selected by Microsoft as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
(MVP). He is
featured on the Microsoft website under XP
Expert Zone Community.
“Andy Vanosdale is a devoted MVP for Windows XP Media Center Edition
and a sophomore at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. You can
frequently
find his advice in the Media Center Edition newsgroup,” according
to the Microsoft website.
Microsoft MVPs are acknowledged by peers and also by Microsoft for their
active participation in Microsoft technical communities around the globe.
They have demonstrated practical expertise providing the highest quality
information and content and they are active technical community leaders
sharing their experience with peers.
Vanosdale, of East Ridge, Tennessee, is a technology consultant for East
Ridge High School.

to Dr. Phil Kazemersky, Acting Dean of the UTC
College of Engineering and Computer Science.
