Israeli Political Strategist to Speak on Radical Islam |

|
Dr. Yossi Olmert, an authority on Israeli politics, the Arab-Israeli
conflict and radical Islam will be speaking on the UTC campus in
Grote room 129 at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 24. The former director
of the Government Press Office and Advisor to Yitzhak Shamir and Policy
Advisor to Defense Minister Moshe Arens under Prime Minister Binyamin
Netanyahu, Olmert will address "Radical Islam: Where did it come
from and where is it going?" Olmert completed his doctoral work in Middle Eastern History and received
the Ph.D. at the London School of Economics; he graduated magna cum laude
from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem with the MA in the History of
the Middle East; and he earned an undergraduate degree in History of the
Middle East, graduating magna cum laude at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
