Students
elect new Student Government Association Officers
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga recently held its 2004-2005
Student Government Association (SGA) officer elections, and James
Armour,
a junior finance major and a 2001 graduate from Humboldt High School,
was reelected to his second term as president. Armour has previously
served as Freshman Senate President. He is a member of the Black Student
Alliance and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Prior to being elected SGA President,
Armour served as SGA Senator, and he has made the academic achievement
Dean’s List.
Amy Prevost, a Goodlettsville, Tennessee native who attended White House
High School, was elected vice president of SGA. A sophomore marketing
major, Prevost is a member of Chi Omega Sorority; she serves on the UTC
Admissions Team; she is the Panhellenic Programming Chair and the UTC
SGA Programming Committee Secretary. Prevost serves as a part-time peer
counselor for the UTC Financial Aid Office, and as an orientation leader.
Prevost is a member of the American Marketing Association. She has participated
in intramural sports, and she has made the Dean’s List for high
academic achievement.
Tiffany Campbell, a junior physical therapy major and a 2000 graduate
from Peabody High School, returns for a second term as treasurer. Prior
to her appointment she was an SGA Senator, a member of the Black Student
Alliance, and a Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital volunteer.
