James Armour, New SGA President

New Student Government Association Officers
Announced
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga recently held its 2003-2004
Student Government Association (SGA) officer elections, and James
Armour, a sophomore finance major and a 2001 graduate from
Humboldt High School, was elected president. Armour has also served
as Freshman Senate President. He is a member of the Black Student
Association and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Prior to being elected
SGA President, Armour was elected SGA Senator, and he recently made
the academic achievement Dean’s List.
Reginald Simmons, Jr., a junior finance major and
a 2001 graduate from Germantown High School, was elected vice-president.
He is also the president of Inroads Student Association in Memphis,
Tennessee . He was a member of the National Honor Society while
at Germantown. At UTC, Simmons was elected Vice-President of the
Freshman Senate. Currently he is a Dean’s Scholar and is working
on an internship with FedEx.
Tiffany Campbell, a junior physical therapy major
and a 2000 graduate from Peabody High School, was elected treasurer.
Prior to her appointment she was an SGA Senator, a member of the
Black Student Association and a Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital volunteer.
