High school seniors reminded of scholarship deadlines
High school seniors, it is time to think about UTC priority scholarship deadlines for fall semester, 2004.

Freshmen Scholarships
The UTC scholarship deadline for first-time freshmen is February 1. Students applying for freshmen scholarships MUST submit their UTC admission application, $25 application fee, official high school transcript, and ACT or SAT scores by the February 1 deadline. The information on file in the Admissions Office on February 1 will be used to determine eligibility for scholarships. High schools using a weighted grading scale must have the weighted GPA printed on the transcript in order for the GPA to be honored by the Admissions office. Weighted GPAs are NOT used to determine eligibility for Tennessee Lottery scholarships.

Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarships
UTC students who are Tennessee residents and graduate from a Tennessee high school in 2003 or 2004 may qualify for the first Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarships. Those interested in receiving lottery scholarship funds must complete the 2004-2005 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before May 1, 2004 and list UTC on this application (school code 003529). The 2004-2005 Free Application for Federal Student Aid will be available on-line January 1, 2004. Funds may be limited and awarded on a first come first served basis.
