Grand Opening Planned for UTC Bookstore

The UTC Bookstore has made a move across campus, and that calls for a grand opening celebration on Monday, November 24, 4p.m.-7 p.m. in the newly renovated University Center.

The UTC Bookstore is a division of Barnes and Noble College Bookstores, Inc., which is the largest college bookstore contract management company in the industry. Barnes and Noble College Bookstores, Inc. operates approximately 500 campus bookstores.

“At UTC, we sell college textbooks, trade books for general reading, UTC giftware and clothing, housing items and supplies college students need,” according to Kellie Wright, UTC Bookstore manager.

Those attending the open house will be eligible for a gift certificate drawing, and extra discounts are available for UTC faculty and staff if they purchase one of the top ten fiction and non-fiction trade titles for November.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.- noon.
