Alumni invited to join half time band activities
If you can unearth that tarnished tuba from the attic or find your
flute buried in the closet, plan to join the marching band half time
celebration at the UTC Mocs Football game against Liberty on Saturday,
November 13. All alumni are invited to participate; the event is planned
to honor Tony D’Andrea, Director of Bands at UTC.
“Tony has announced his retirement, and we want to honor him
by playing his favorite selections,” said Dr. Stuart Benkert,
Associate Professor, Director of Athletic Bands. “All former
students, regardless of school affiliation are invited.”
Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
To play or to participate in this event, please contact Dr. Stuart
M. Benkert at (423)425-4736.
