University Employees Participate in Holiday Walk
Administrative assistant Mary Scott, University Center director Shannon Smith and assistant professor of music Stuart Benkert joined family and friends as they participated in the first Grateful Gobblers Walk for the Homeless on Thanksgiving morning.
The three were part of a crowd of nearly 1,400 people. The event raised approximately $20,000 for 19 agencies that provide services to the homeless.
