Coverage of Dr. Lyn Miles, anthropology, was featured in an article last month in The Chattanooga Times. The same feature was picked up by the Atlanta Bureau of the Associated Press, and will also run in Tennessee Alumnus magazine this summer. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch covered Dr. Lucian Ellington's, Teacher Prep Academy, session with St. Louis teachers. Dr. Hill Craddock, biology, and his work with the Chattanooga Chestnut Tree Project and the Lula Lake Land Trust was recently featured in a spot on CNN's nature program, "Earth Matters." The interview also included comments from Bobby Davenport of the Lula Lake Land Trust. The story was also picked up by the Associated Press. The May 12 issue of Woman's Day magazine mentions UTC's Youth University on a special "Kids' Day" page of summer activities for children. Dr. Mike Richards, English, recently gave a tour of the Shakespear Garden for Channel 45's Southern Accents program. The show will air Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 10 at 4 p.m. Dr. Richards was also featured in a recent Chattanooga Free Press article. |
