Local Agencies Benefit from UTC
Volunteer Day UTC students, faculty and staff recently joined forces to assist more than a dozen non-profit agencies in the first annual Community Volunteer Day. Listed among the project sites were Chattanooga Room in the Inn, Chattanooga Zoo, East Fifth Street Child Care, Dismas House, Girls, Inc., Orchard Knob Elementary School and others. "This event grew from a commitment here at UTC to simply be good neighbors within the community. I'm proud of the students and staff who have agreed to give so generously of their time," said UTC Chancellor Bill Stacy.
