The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is pleased to announce that we are launching the search for our next Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The Provost, who reports directly to the Chancellor and serves as Acting Chancellor in his absence, leads and manages all academic and academic support areas of the University. As the University’s chief academic officer, this critical position fosters academic quality; an environment conducive to collegiality, diverse views, open discussion; and an appreciation and respect for ethnic, cultural, and social diversity.
