UTC Day at Nightfall, 7 p.m., Miller Plaza. Join your friends for a free concert starring The Whigs (performing at 8 p.m.) a raucous and talented three-piece garage rock band from Athens, Georgia.  The band is touring the country promoting its just-released second album Mission Control, and made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.  The Bohannons open UTC Day at Nightfall at 7 p.m.

Student Alumni Council (SAC) Membership Drive is open to any student who has completed at least one semester of undergraduate classes and who has a minimum 2.5 GPA is eligible to apply. The SAC is a closed membership  student leadership organization which runs programs so that current students understand the services and programs offered by the UTC Alumni Office. SAC members also serve as university ambassadors for various campus events, including at several alumni and athletics programs.
