Think…Beyond the Classroom...for Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff can designate a class or other university offering as an experiential learning opportunity. Applied components of an academic course, internships, leadership experience, and class or community projects can be designated as Beyond the Classroom Experiential Learning Opportunities.
The process is simple to get an activity designated as an experiential learning activity. Faculty and staff should fill out the short form linked here: Beyond the Classroom Faculty/Staff Initiated Experiential Learning Contract and submit to Bengt Carlson at Bengt-Carlson@utc.edu. Once the activity is approved by the committee, students will be able to earn points by engaging in the activity and then completing their Preflection and Reflection on the experience.
