The
mission of the University Technology Committee is to assess campus-wide
academic technology needs and opportunities and to implement standards and
organizational approaches to provide for the effective application of
technology to further the educational mission of the University of Tennessee at
Chattanooga.
Specific
goals of the committee to meet this mission are as follows:

Plan for
and implement a process for the funding of projects through the student
technology fee.
·
Recommend
to the Chancellor the allocation of funding for student technology fee
projects.
·
Evaluate
and recommend campus-wide technology policies that affect the teaching and
learning process.
·
Facilitate
the ongoing technology planning process on campus.
