Environmental Task Force
In spring 2007, students voted to impose a Green Fee, with the purpose of supporting recycling, clean energy, and projects which improve campus energy efficiency and sustainability. Since that time, 100% of those fees have been allocated to fund projects which:
- Conserve electricity, natural gas, and water
- Increase the use of sustainable products
- Install alternative energy sources
- Enhance campus green spaces
- Promote alternative means of transportation, such as bicycles and electric cars
- One student internship
