Mission Statement
The mission of SSS is to offer a wide array of free services specially designed to promote the retention and graduation of UTC students from low-income, first generation backgrounds and individuals with disabilities. A secondary purpose of SSS is to foster an academically focused climate supportive of the success of students.
Vision Statement
The SSS mission evolved out of the belief that project eligible students when provided with the tools, resources, and information necessary for success at UTC will have a greater chance of graduating.
Philosophy Statement
SSS academic support efforts take an integrated approach to its mission that incorporates both academic and non-academic elements when offering program services and activities.
