Outside Scholarships
Students are encouraged to apply for any outside scholarships that are available through different towns, civic organizations, or companies other than the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The application and eligibility process is determined by the organization/donor. Generally, these funds will be sent directly to UTC rather than to you. Often, donors will send the scholarship check to the student, paid to the order of UTC. If you receive an outside scholarship check, please forward it to the following address. Also, please write your UTC student ID on the check.

Thoughts to Keep in Mind
Beware of companies that promise to save you thousands of dollars in tuition by assisting you with your scholarships and/or financial aid. You should never have to pay for scholarship information. Also, don't be fooled by a company that asks you for money to "hold" a scholarship.
