Chattanooga YES!
UTC is pleased to present the Chattanooga YES! Grant for qualified applicants. First-time Freshmen who complete the Admissions application checklist & Financial Aid file (including the FAFSA) by February 1st, then complete the UTC Online Scholarship Application by March 1st of their senior year will be considered for the $3000 per year award. First-time Freshmen must also meet the following criteria:
- Tennessee Resident
- 3.0 High School GPA and a 19 ACT (890 SAT)
- Demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA
- Applicants with Incomplete files (Admissions or Financial Aid) will not be considered
The Chattanooga YES! Grant is renewable for up to three additional years based on the student’s academic performance.
*We ask that you APPLY EARLY. Scholarship funds are limited and the awarding process is competitive. Meeting the eligibility requirements does NOT guarantee a student will receive a scholarship. The best way to improve your candidacy is to submit all required materials as soon as possible.
