Narrative:
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) conducts regular audits of the financial aid programs as required by federal and state regulations. The Student Financial Aid Cluster was a major federal program for the State of Tennessee during the 2008 fiscal year. Work was conducted at UTC as part of the state’s Single Audit. The work was conducted as prescribed by the Office of Management and Budget’s Circular A-133. The compliance statements are in Parts 2, 3, and 5. Part 5 pages 5-3-2 through 5-3-49 are the compliance requirements that were tested.
