American architecture from the late 18th century to the present. Begins with the French “Visionary” architects, proceeds to the British Arts and Crafts Movement, German Expressionism, American Period revivals, and International Style. Also covers Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Frank Lloyd Wright and the Prairie School, progressive architecture in Holland, Italy, and Japan, and advent of Post Modernism.
