The mission of the UTC Placement and Student Employment Center is to provide services which bring students and prospective employers together so UTC students can identify employment opportunities and employers can identify quailifed candidates to meet their employment needs. This mission is accomplished through a variety of services provided to students and employers. Placement staff are available to assist students with individual placement counseling, including developing job searches, preparing resumes and developing interview skills. In addition to these services, employment opportunities are posted on the Placement web page and Career Fairs and Special Events are sponsored by the Placement Center during the academic year.
Our mission is considered complete as our students graduate with skills and knowledge of the process to be successful in their search. The links to other sites from this page will assist you as you support your student in his/her drive to success.
