Position Purpose
Quickly respond to en route road repair requests on company and/or owner-operated trucks and trailers. Communicate with service providers to determine the most effective course for repair to minimize equipment downtime and cost. Assure the safety of the driver, vehicle and freight while optimizing equipment utilization. Communicate with internal departments on the status of trucks requiring en route service with the potential to impact the timely delivery of freight.
Job Functions
Answer incoming calls from drivers and vendors regarding tractor and trailer repair.
- Answer incoming satcom messages from drivers regarding tractor and trailer repair.
- Identify the need for equipment repairs based on incoming correspondence.
- Create RCC issue in Cetaris documenting the details of equipment repairs needed. Information needed includes but is not limited to; The driver’s contact information, location of equipment failure, and the service provider information.
- Update Cetaris continuously with current data regarding the progress and completion of the repair.
- Communicate with driver, Customer Service, Fleet Operations, Safety, Claims or other internal departments on the truck status. Work with operations to avoid a delay in delivery time of freight.
- May be asked to lead a group of Road Maintenance Representatives which includes to monitor performance, provide guidance and recommend disciplinary action to management if needed.
- Utilize the Service Locator to determine the best vendor to use for en route repairs.
- Attain cost estimates and place requests for service with appropriate vendors (towing, trailer, tire, tractor, etc.).
- Receive and review billing statements from vendors and negotiate pricing when appropriate
- Make payment to vendors when appropriate if needed once invoice is received..
- Create work order in Cetaris utilizing VMRS coding and document repair details in work order comment section.
- Authorize or approve all repairs above the limit of the Road Maintenance Representatives assigned and report any discrepancies to Management.
- Maintain a weekly chronic repair history report to identify equipment repair trends. Email and inform appropriate departments of these trends to help determine if there is an issue with the equipment or driver related issues that need to be addressed.
- Maintain oversight position of all equipment issues that are entered into Cetaris during assigned shift. Make any needed corrections to these issues and advise Management of any discrepancies or problems that may occur on assigned shift.
- Review repair invoices for accuracy in pricing and repair completion.
- Ensure that all procedures and directives that apply have been followed during the process from initial issue creation within Cetaris throughout the work order process.
- May attend weekly meetings with upper management to discuss issues and departmental trends.
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Ability to work on an USX site or USX customer location site while performing the essential functions of this position.
- May include other duties as assigned by Management.
Key Knowledge and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills required
- 3-5 years experience in truck or automotive service and/or parts preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the mechanics of tractors and trailers required.

Job Description: Work from order sheets to build loads for transport, bulk and/or route trucks, using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. Each type of loading required strict attention to order accuracy, both on what is loaded onto outgoing trucks and what is unloaded from incoming trucks. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of product from the warehouse onto a trailer, and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Include unloading of raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors or product from the warehouse, then loading them onto a pallet. Responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet by properly stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet. In most cases, load pallets onto a trailer for local delivery. Unloading returned product and pallets/plastic flats. Conventional truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of product from the warehouse, then loading them into the bays of a route truck which the salesperson selected for that particular product/package - includes unloading returned product/pallets/plastic flats. Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping as you move product.

in all situations. Counselors are the connecting link between campers and
all other areas of camp, including daily one on one time with each of their campers throughout the week. Our campers are from many backgrounds and ministry has many facets.

Duties include engaging guests by delivering an entertaining and educational script while aboard the Tennessee River Gorge Explorer. Carries out the mission of the Aquarium through helping people gain an appreciation and better understanding of the world, particularly freshwater ecosystems, and a sense of stewardship for the earth and all its resources. Acts as a deckhand to perform required vessel duties.

- Greets visitors and assists with boarding and debarking, providing assistance for visitors with special needs.

Feeding America, a non-profit organization, feeds America’s hungry through its network of approximately 200 food banks and engages the country in the fight to end hunger. Hunger in America 2014 will be Feeding America’s sixth extensive study of charitable food assistance. The methods used to collect the data are unlike any other hunger-focused study and capture detailed information about who is in need of emergency food assistance and their circumstances. For the first time ever, client survey data will be collected using touchscreen tablets and wireless technology. This information provides an invaluable resource for charitable feeding organizations to help develop programs that best support people in need. Interns are needed to conduct client data collection in the Food Bank’s service area from April through August 2013.
Intern Responsibilities

- Attend an interactive training session led by Chattanooga Area Food Bank staff members
- Travel to agency sites to facilitate client survey data collection

10/17/12............Homework Helpers - Girls Inc. of Chattanooga is in need of homework helpers for the Bookworm Club program and would love to the community get involved. The program is Monday and Tuesday at Woodmore Elementary School in Brainerd and Wednesday and Thursday at East Ridge Elementary School. We need homework helpers from 4-5 p.m. and general volunteers 3-4 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. Volunteers should contact Katherine Walker at 423-624-4757. A minimum commitment of 20 hours is required.
In our newly launched Service and Learning College Volunteer Program, college students will be able to get hands-on experience in our real-life classrooms here at Erlanger Hospital. With volunteer opportunities available in both clinical and non-clinical areas, students of all backgrounds and fields of study—from Nursing, Pre-Med, and Allied Health to Accounting, Legal studies, and Business Administration—will gain valuable skills and insights from behind the scenes. Marketing/Development and Volunteer Coordination Intern – Signal Centers - We are currently looking for a college-aged intern interested in non-profit management, volunteer coordination, marketing, and development. Interns must have a high school diploma and be available to work twice a week. Interns should be proactive, organized, have a working knowledge of computers, and have good written and communication skills. Interns will assist the Chief Marketing and Development Officer with events, fund-raising, and development of marketing materials. Work Area: Interns will be placed at the Signal Centers Germantown Campus. Interns will be expected to participate in fund-raising events off campus.
Qualifications for Interns:
- Be proactive and enthusiastic
- Have an interest in Marketing, Development, and Volunteer Coordination
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a HS diploma
- Commit to at least two days a week (hours will be flexible)
- Be respectful of individuals with all abilities
Basic Duties:
- Assist Chief Marketing and Development Officer with development of marketing materials
- Assist at fund-raising and special events
- Assist with volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and organizing
Training:
- Participate in an interview with the Chief Marketing Development Officer prior to service
- Fill out a volunteer application
- Attend an orientation at Signal Centers
- Participate in a complete overview of volunteer procedures
Shifts:
- Commit to a minimum of 2 days a week
- Actual hours are flexible and we can work around school schedules
- Shifts are offered five days a week M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
