Resume Doctor Bring your resume by the Placement & Student Employment table for tips that can help you improve your resume! You should always have someone look over your resume to help you spot typos, misspellings etc.
Interview Skills This workshop will provide tips that will help students understand the interview process, how to prepare before the interview, answer behavioral interview questions, and follow-up after the interview. Appropriate interview attire will also be discussed.

Networking Tips for College Students Networking is how 70-75% of most people land a job. Learn tips that can help you develop a networking plan! An introduction to the Alumni Career Mentoring Program will also be covered in this workshop.
Dining Etiquette Dinner "Recipe for Success" Great opportunity for Juniors, Seniors & Grad Students to receive some tips, suggestions, and "do this and don't do that rules and regulations for dining with a prospective employer. Learn how to handle those "awkward moments" that sometimes happen during a dinner interview. The following employers will join the Placement Office in sponsoring this event: The Buckle, Chattem, Cigna, Northwestern Mutual, Target and Tennessee Valley Authority. Representatives from each of these companies will be participating in the reception and the etiquette dinner. Come by the Placement Office to find out more information or to purchase a ticket. (Tickets are $5.00 - SOLD OUT) Limited number of tickets available.
