Career Fairs...
An annual career fair, open to all majors, is held each February. Additional career fairs, for specific majors, are held as needed during the academic year. All career fairs are open to students and alumni free of charge. Employers may be charged a fee to participate.
Below are the Career Fairs sponsored by the Placement Center, or fairs which may be of interest to you as a student or alumnus. Career Fairs provide an opportunity to interact with employers and/or learn about opportunities available within your major and field of interest; so, please attend those which are of interest to you.
CAREER DAY (all majors) WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2010
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Placement and Student Employment Center and Office of Cooperative Education cordially invite you to participate in our annual Career Day to be held February 10, 2010 in the University Center from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The purpose of Career Day is to acquaint UTC's undergraduate and graduate students with various careers and special programs that are available. This year the Career Day will also include summer opportunities for students. Please keep in mind that both undergraduate and graduate students plan to attend the career fair.
A registration fee of $90.00 per exhibiting organization is due January 8, 2010. Checks should be addressed to UTC Placement. Cancellations must be received by January 22, 2010. Parking information will be sent with a confirmation letter after we have received your registration and closer to the event. Please plan to arrive by 9:00 a.m. to set up your display.
The Career Day Open House will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. Employers will be assigned tables and students will go from table to table to talk informally with the representatives. During the open house a box lunch will be provided for you.
