When you attend Orientation, you’ll be led by Orientation Leaders and the staff from the Dean of Students office. The will be able to answer your questions about how to help you make your students transition to UTC a smooth and successful one. During Orientation, you’ll meet with University administrators, staff members, and faculty. Below is a schedule of events (please note, times given are Eastern Time). Schedules are subject to change; you will receive a detailed schedule when you check-in to your session.

| At this session, you will meet the UTC administration as well as the Orientation staff. This will be your first step to becoming a MOC! | ||

| During this time, you can meet up with your family and choose from a variety of sessions covering campus life and student services. | ||

| While your students enjoy an evening of entertainment and see an introduction to college life, we encourage you to take some time to explore the city that will become your student’s home! | ||
* Your check-in time may differ depending on your student's need for placement tests. Please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes before the tests. If your student does not need to take either test, please plan on arriving at least an hour before the opening session.

| A representative from the Office of Records and Registration will go over the registration process and FERPA, the federal act that protects your student’s privacy. | ||

| Get valuable information concerning University housing, telephone & computer access, parking, food service, UTC Bookstore, ID cards and copy center. | ||

| Get valuable information concerning student tuition, fees, and financial aid. | ||

| Individual University offices that participated in the "Your Investment in UTC" sessions will be available to answer your questions. Financial Aid will be located in the UC Auditorium and the Bursar's office will be at their satellite location, UC Room 274. All other services will be in the UC Gallery. | ||
